Mobile mixing plants are indispensable for construction projects such as tunnels, motorways and airports. Rapid set-up and unproblematic relocation of the plant to a different site make these plants ideal for building projects of this kind. For reasons of weight, mobile mixing plants usually have a simple and lightweight design that satisfies the demands of transport by road.

　　Liebherr offers a highly practical solution for professional concrete production on building sites. Short set-up times coupled with a robust design that complies with the standards for stationary mixing plants, a high output rate and a large storage facility for the aggregates were the principal requirements as far as the development of the Mobilmix 2.25 R was concerned.

　　At the Bauma China 2010 trade show, Liebherr is displaying a Mobilmix 2.25 batching plant, which was specially redesigned by German engineering team in order to adapt to some special requirements of the Chinese market.

　　The main components of the mixing plant are arranged on a supporting platform, which is transported in its entirety on a low-loader. The container with the control system is also integrated in this module. A crane lifts the basic plant directly off the low-loader onto a level, prepared surface. It is erected together with the mixing system, weigher and bucket conveyor, and then screwed and bolted into its operating position. The control container is then moved into its final position. It provides a generous amount of space and features the state-of-the-art microprocessor control system Litronic-MPS II.

　　Two further transport units are the inline silo and the carrier unit with metering flaps and a weigh belt conveyor. Up to 140 m³ of aggregate in four or six chambers can be stored in the inline silo. The chamber width of 3.50 m means that a wheel loader can be used to fill the silo. Finally, up to 6 cement silos, each with a capacity of up to 120 t, are placed into position.

　　The Mobilmix features an integral DW 2.25 double-shaft mixer from Liebherr that affords a high output rate of 100 m³ of set concrete per hour.

　　Only one or two days are required to set up and commission the plant. Mobilmix ensures that construction sites can be supplied around the clock with different grades of high-quality concrete.
